Overview

우와~서울이다 Korean 1A is an introduction to the Korean language! This is a class assumes zero or minimal background in the language.  By the end of Korean 1A, kids will be able to:

• Korean Alphabet Consonants and Vowels (한글 자음 & 모음): write and  recognize some simple consonants and vowels

• Korean Phrases (한국어 표현): introduce themselves and ask for directions

• Korean Culture (한국 문화): learn about different places in Seoul!

Recommended Pre-requisites 

• Beginner Korean 1A does not assume any background in Korean language

• If you want to get a head start, you can review words from My First Korean Words 1 (covered in Beginner Korean 1B) that uses the simple consonants (자음) + the simple vowels ㅏㅓㅣㅗ

• If you register for any 1:1 or group beginner Korean Zoom class, we will send you a complementary printable copy of My First Korean Words 1
