Gold Medal Scratch Student Projects | Fall 2022 Semester

“London Bridge” by faststar12345

✿ What’s special about this project:

  • Good use of existing Scratch art with customized/self-drawn vector artwork

  • Use of Looks, Motion, and Control blocks to animate the scene to give the illusion of motion

  • Use of Events (When I receive/Broadcast) blocks to allow for the sequencing of events

“Clicker game” by happycorgi123

✿ What’s special about this project:

  • Engagement created by making the “clicker” object move around the screen with the use of Motion, Operators (Random) and Variables (for Speed)

  • A World Clicks variable that calculates how many clicks the game has received over its history

  • Interesting use of the Looks (Whirl Effect)
